What is Lore?
Lore is a Toronto-based independent, community-driven magazine. Each issue is built around a central theme, combining photography and original writing that explores culture, identity, and belonging. Lore is a SPD 61 Merit Winner and a print medal finalist for the Design: Independent Publishing: Single/Spread/Story category.
Currently, we have 3 issues that have been created over the past 2 years (and are working on the 4th!).
We also have our magazine in multiple shops globally and want to keep expanding around the world.
What do I do for Lore?
My role as a Art director involves collaborating with the masthead team on informing the creative vision of the issue, designing and laying out spreads and helping with photoshoots as a production assistant.
